...and waiting. No real signs yet, and I'm trying to not grasp at straws. Coming to work is no fun. I got two, "You're still here?"'s today already. Ugh.
Maybe she's waiting until I have my To Do list done. Does that make me work any faster? No. I got two major things done this weekend though: shelf from which the comforter will hang is painted and I am almost done "correcting" the tie locations on the crib bumper (which has been much harder to do than I thought).
We bought the stand for the moses basket we will eventually get (it's on order). And, of course, we were told in the store that they couldn't open the box for us to see the finish because then they can't re-sell an open box. As we were walking out, we noticed that the box actually was already open. Ignoring my gut feel as usual, we took it home only for Husband to find out that one of the pieces is incorrect. So it needs to be exchanged.
Still to do:
1. Finish thank you notes (only 5 more to do, but they all need to be mailed).
2. Finish shelf for comforter (drawer pulls and tabs on comforter).
3. Fix the 6 sheets that don't exactly fit our crib mattress.
4. Fix ventilation fan in our bathroom so I can clean it.
That's not too bad...
Thanks for all your well wishes. I'll keep you posted.

Thank you, Clara. So nice! I'm very excited and nervous for myself.
I'm excited for you too! But not nervous - you're gonna do GREAT! I'm thinking about you every day!!
AngelQ....still checking in on you to see how you are doing...if you are looking for distractions, I'd love to hear 8 random things about you..:*) I tagged you...but if you're not up to it...you pretty much have the best excuse ever..:*)
Peace and love from my corner of the world to yours.
I'm full of anxiety myself. I think we need daily I'm-still-here notices. And I'm hoping those could stop either this Thursday or Friday or anytime after next Thursday. :o)
Thanks for the update...I was wondering if you were in the hospital!
