But actually it's Saturday. I love lazy day Saturdays. After last weekend's marathon, sleeping in this morning and knowing that there are a million things I should do but the world won't fall apart if I don't is so wonderful. Today was an especially good one, too, because my husband got up at the same time. I made a not-so-feeble attempt at omelettes and we watched bad t.v. together. Man, the old-school Batman with Adam West was terrible! Robin said, "That last trap was set up at sea....."C" for cat woman!" I mean, REALLY?
And I'm looking forward to this evening...dinner at PFChangs and Extreme Bowling with super friends (no, not THE Super Friends). Yes, bowling. Did I forget to mention that my husband and I are fiends for the bowling right now? Hmmmmm. We're in a league at work and before last Thursday, we were in 1st place. Let's hear it for high handicaps!! He's a much better bowler than I, but I enjoy it and that's a feat for me since I'm so not into team sports.
Unfortunately, that also means we need to clean so that people don't know we live like slobs most of the time....not that we're fooling anyone!
