Problem Solved

So, I think we effectively eliminated our squirrel problem. What do you think? Not too drastic I hope.

Though this happened almost two months ago, it still saddens me. Especially when I see pictures of how beautiful it was before.

The land behind us is owned by the school district, which is one of the reasons we bought this lot. We knew there wasn't going to be a convenience store behind us some day and we wouldn't have to look into someone else's home. We were also told when we bought that there was a 40 foot drainage easment behind our fence. So we were sure they would leave some of the trees. But apparently, parking issues make it okay to change the 40 foot easement to a 10 foot easement thereby requiring the destruction of all the trees. Ugh!

So, yes, we have effectively eliminated our squirrel problem. As well as our bunny problem. Damn bunnies. Hopping around our yard. Eating our grass. Being all cute and stuff. Gah!
